This is the house my Grandpa and Grandma lived in from the mid-to-late 1940’s in Mount Pleasant, Michigan until they both passed away.  That is my mother sitting on the front steps of the house. This photo I’m guessing was taken around 1957 or 1958. Back then the house had a large field behind it and to the side where my Grandma shot pheasant once.  Now though, there are houses up and down the street and a large movie theatre where the field once was. The house still looks exactly the same, although the hedges have grown a lot since then, and the saplings they planted in the backyard are now giant trees.
